Kantaris is an all new media player based on code from Videolan client (VLC) and Bass audio library. Kantaris has a graphical user interface similar to that of Windows Media Player.

Kantaris can play almost anything you can throw at it -- AVI, MPEG, MGEG-AVC, WMV, MOV, MKV, quicktime, matroska, divx, xvid, H264, MP3, WMA, OGG files and more. Kantaris can also play DVD's and audio cd's. The player also displays some of the most beautiful music visualisations ever seen. All this is completely free.

What's new :

· Version 0.6.1 works with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7.

· Critical bug appears when the operating system’s default language isn’t among the languages that Kantaris has been translated to.
· Minor bug when playing DVD or web stream.
· Minor bug when trying to select all in playlist.
· Mix up in English language file so some parts where written in Swedish.
